JP Mortgage Group Technical Support Policy and Requirements

JP Mortgage Group works with Dam Computers to meet your IT needs.

Some of these of services provided are:

  • High speed internet connectivity.
  • Secure WPA2 encrypted wireless access within the offices.
  • Windows 2003 Domain Server with dedicated storage space, secured with 4 redundant SCSI hard drives on a raid 5.
  • Networked printers.
  • Hosted dedicated Encompass server, available from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Hosted dedicated e-mail server, providing webmail, IMAP, POP3 available from anywhere with an internet connection.
  • Secure remote access to server data via Cisco VPN.

In order to access the networked services in the JPMG offices your computer must meet these requirements:

  • Windows XP Professional (See KB article on how to determine your Windows Version)
  • Pentium 4 1.8ghz or Athlon 2000 computer or better with at least 256mb of ram.
  • Office XP or 2003 with Word.
  • For wireless network access, your computer must meet the above requirements AND have a wireless card with WPA2 capability.  (If you purchased your wireless card or computer within the last 2 years it should meet this requirement)

If your computer does not meet these requirements Dam Computers can assist you in getting you the right system.  As a JPMG loan officer you will receive the benefit of a discounted corporate rate for all office and home computers and services.  They can be reached at www.Dam-Computers.com or 702-396-4357.

To get you started as a JPMG loan officer, you will receive a network account, email address and Encompass acount.  Please see the tutorials on setting up your computer as part of the JPMG domain, setting up your e-mail account and installing Encompass.  You should be able to complete the entire process yourself with the resources provided. 

If you have additional issues with the setup process:

  1. Please make sure that all the computer requirements have been met and setps have been followed.
  2. Submit a ticket for support at http://support.jpmgonline.com
  3. A systems engineer will contact you shortly to assist you with any issues.  Please note that if the systems engineer determines that the issue is not directly related to the JPMG network, you will be billed at the JPMG group rate for time and services.
